Residents of Nakhodka demand that a convicted serviceman be barred from school events

In Primorye, parents and local residents are calling for children to be protected from meetings with Albert Mokaev — a participant in the war against Ukraine and a member of the “Heroes of Primorye” program. Despite a recent conviction, he continues to appear at school events and speak to students.

According to the court, on March 18, 2026, a person with the same name as the serviceman was found guilty of theft. However, this has not prevented him from taking part in official events alongside local officials and депутies. Residents are outraged that a person with a criminal case continues to be involved in “educational” activities and to speak to schoolchildren about “positive” values.
