In Ramenskoye, near Moscow, the Association of “SMO” Veterans held a basic military training session for fifth-grade students at School No. 6. Participants of the war against Ukraine taught children how to conduct “building clearance,” find cover, move tactically, and evacuate the “wounded” — roles played by the students themselves.
According to the head of the Ramenskoye district, students learned to work in pairs and practiced maneuvers such as “advance” and “withdrawal,” which are now “not just terms, but practical skills” for them.
“When you see how the kids grow more confident with each exercise, you feel that you are doing something truly important. We are not just teaching them tactical techniques — we are shaping character,” — said Alexander Kulik, head of the Association of “SMO” Veterans.
In its report, the school administration thanked the servicemen for conducting the session and noted that such “engaging” and “useful” activities are meant to instill discipline, responsibility, and a readiness to “stand up in defense of the Motherland.”
