Preschoolers Awarded Medals for Participating in Children’s Military Parade

At the Lesnaya Skazka kindergarten in the town of Luga, Leningrad region, a medal ceremony was held for children who took part in the May 9 “Victory Parade”. The young kids were once again dressed in military uniforms and marched through the playground. The medals were handed out by a participant in the war against Ukraine.
“Our preschoolers are the future support and defense of our armed forces,” he said in his speech.
The award ceremony was timed to coincide with the end-of-year assembly, according to the kindergarten’s social media. The post also gave special mention to the “commander” and the “driver.”
📌 Throughout May, hundreds of “school,” “toddler,” and “preschool” military parades were held across Russia. This year, the campaign reached an unprecedented scale.
