Journalist Dmitry Kolezev released an excellent video on how military propaganda is increasingly infiltrating secondary education, while the authorities implement systemic measures to subjugate children, indoctrinate them, and prepare them for future wars.

"Hero of the Special Military Operation" and former convict-mercenaries, education advisors (essentially full-time propagandists), new textbooks and subjects, Conversations About Important Things, patriotic holidays and events, Yunarmiya and The Movement of the First, hero desks and memorial plaques for those killed in the war—this is far from a complete list of propaganda elements in Russian schools.

However, school propaganda can be resisted. There are ways to fight it, and the most radical and effective of them are far more accessible than they might seem at first glance. Homeschooling is one of the most effective solutions. We recommend subscribing to the chat of our friends, Smart Changes, where participants share experiences, useful materials, and tips on organizing family education.

The video features one of our project’s authors, Dmitry Tsibiryov, and modern educator Dima Zitzer—founder of the Institute of Informal Education and author of the program "Love, Not Educate."
