Military Advisors to appear in Russian Schools
Starting February 2026, participants in the war against Ukraine will begin working as advisors on military-patriotic education in schools and technical colleges across North Ossetia. The launch of this “unique project with no analogues in Russia” was announced by the head of the republic, Sergey Menyaylo.
These former “SVO participants” will be officially integrated into the education system and tasked with shaping students’ “value orientations.” Their responsibilities will include: leading patriotic clubs, organizing educational events, working with pre-conscription youth, supervising school museums and Yunarmiya (Youth Army) units.
According to Menyaylo, this initiative addresses two goals at once: providing employment and “social adaptation” for returning soldiers, and strengthening patriotic upbringing for children and teens.
“Their experience, knowledge, and active civic position can make a significant contribution to instilling the right values in the younger generation,” — said the head of the republic.
